This will be the last week for delivers. We will have the remaining items available at Courtland by appointment. E-mail for times.
We will still have Juicing Carrots and Apples available. Will be able to order 1/2 case and case of some items.
The Berlin Bakery Items can also be ordered. They have a new product coming out. Pizza Crust. It should be good.
We are playing this by ear. We will still have the website and you can always email us.
Thanks for all the wonderful notes you have sent. Hopefully this will be a small bump and be over soon.

Whenever we make a major decision about the farm we have always included our customers. We consider you partners in the farm. We are in a very tough situation and we need your input on how to proceed.
Over the last few weeks several things have combined to make us stop and reevaluate the business as a whole. Ken has had to spend increasing amounts of his time at work. This is bad for Ken and the farm as I have had to reduce the number of hours that I dedicate to the business. I spend most of my time battling medical issues and going to physical therapy. I am contributing as much as I can without compromising my health. This puts a lot of pressure on Ken.
With the grilling season upon us we bought a large supply f meat. Between a tripped circuit breaker and a bad compressor on the freezer we have lost all the meat. This was a major hit for the business. We cannot recover from this loss of inventory.
Gas prices are still high with no relief in sight. We never fully transferred the extra cost of fuel over to you. Maybe a bad business decision on our part, but we didn't want to burden you with it.
Our customer base is dropping. We aren't fully sure if it is just because it's summer and everyone is on vacation or not. We have tried to expand our marketing, but Ken is already overloaded. He's not even sure if he can handle the increased business if we were to get it right now.
We are seriously thinking about closing the major part of the business in a few weeks. This is so disappointing for us. We love what we do and have come to think of you as an extension of our family. We feel we have the greatest customers in the world and it just makes our hearts ache to think the business is possibly closed.
We have so many plans for the future of our business. We envisioned a small store at the farm with a learning center that we could have classes that taught forgotten skills, canning, and organic gardening. Hopefully, this is just a bump in the road and we can make a comeback sometime in the future.
Please let us know your thoughts on our situation. We know when we do close, it will create hardship for some of you. We are sincerely sorry. We will continue with business as usual for the next few weeks as we weigh our
